Today is THE DAY!

Today at 3:00 PM our team will be presenting to the Diocese on keeping our school opened.

A note came home from Mr Swenson yesterday. Here is a part of that letter:

"There is a very important way, however, that you can help tomorrow afternoon. Many are planning to gathter at Church at 3:00 pm to pray together for our school. Please, if you can, join this prayer group or simply pause where you are - at work, at home, and offer a prayer for the success of our committee's presentation."

I'm not even from SMM, but I'll be praying! We need to save as many schools as possible.

God bless Jackie & Zoe's grandma! Your efforts in church this afternoon were appreciated and appropriate. Whatever the outcome, SMMS will be remembered as a school, community and family who puts God at the forefront of all we do!

Does anyone know how the presentation to the Diocese went? I'm sure I'm not the only person anxiously waiting to hear some news.

I heard the presentation went well. The committee did a great job presenting the facts and it they did their homework ahead of time. I spoke with Mr. Gantert and he was please with the way things went. Now it's just the waiting game.

I too would like to thank Zoe and Jackies grandmother. She did a great job leading everyone in chuch. We are fortunate to have the family at SMM school.
